Mariagrazia Archila
Violin Faculty
Boston based violinist, Mariagrazia Archila, received the Equity Scholarship in 2021 from the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she earned an Undergraduate Diploma studying with Boston Symphony violinist, Alexander Velinzon.

She has performed with several Boston-area orchestras, including the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, Symphony Pro Musica, Boston Civic Orchestra, and the Boston String Academy Youth Ensemble under prominent conductors as Mark Churchill, Benjamin Zander, Francisco Noya and Jorge Soto.
Born in Guanare, Venezuela, she studied in El Sistema. Her principal violin instructors were Alvaro Larez, Luis Miguel Gonzalez and Samuel Vargas. She performed with several orchestras, including the Guanare Youth Orchestra, “Los llanos Symphony Orchestra” and the “Lara Symphony Orchestra”. In 2015 she participated in the VII International Seminar in Portuguesa – Venezuela, where she took masterclasses with Eriel Huang.
Mariagrazia plans to dedicate her future teaching music to children and youths to discover their full potential.
