Our directors, Mariesther and Marielisa Alvarez, along with students Annabelle Lee and Bryan DaCosta, presented at El Sistema USA National Symposium 2020 in Durham, North Carolina. The presentation, “Raising the ‘Bar”: Musical Excellence and High Expectations”, was part of Longy’s Sistema Side by Side Orchestra Program, and included the participation of Longy team Monique Van Willingh, Ryan Welsh, and the wonderful young musicians from Kids 4 Harmony program.
