Performance for Sir Simon Rattle [Gallery]

What an honor and inspiration for all of us at BSA to perform for Sir Simon Rattle. The maestro listened and gave some words of wisdom to our advanced ensemble in a special private performance at Boston Symphony Hall just before the Berlin Philharmonic’s concert. Venezuelan double bass player and member of the Philharmonic, Edicson Ruiz, also joined the students to surprise Sir Simon. Our students later enjoyed the amazing dress rehearsal of this iconic orchestra!
